Tammy started her career in research in 1991 as a research coordinator for Illinois Institute of Technologies, Research
Institute. At IITRI, Tammy performed preclinical oncology research on animal models and worked in the analytics department
using HPLC to test blood drug levels. During this period, Tammy also worked part time at Illinois Veterinary Labs as a

on animal specimens.
In 1993, Tammy had her first experience in clinical research working for Clinistat, a CRO in Vernon Hills. In 1995 she returned
to her preclinical and laboratory background to work at Chicago College of Pharmacy. Tammy took a brief respite from her
