Sean Bernard

Sean Bernard joined Advanced Clinical Research Services (ACRS) in 2007. He is charged with overseeing all functional
areas involving systems integration, hardware, network support, security, and research and development of ACRS' automated
systems.
Prior to joining ACRS, Sean was a Senior Systems Analyst for Sava Senior Care. While there Sean led several projects that
used technology to streamline business processes, reduce costs, and focus resources to meet company goals. This included
several multi-million dollar projects aimed at capturing and securing patient data in electronic form, while maintaining
compliance with regulatory requirements (HIPAA).
Prior to Sava, Sean was a Senior Systems Administrator with Petris Technology, Inc, where he assisted with the development
and implementation of large-scale data migration systems, and was instrumental in designing and implementing Petris’
application service provider (ASP) line-of-business, which continues to serve over 180 applications to hundreds of users
world-wide.
Before joining Petris Technology, Sean worked as a technology consultant, and had assignments supporting the technology
goals of organizations in a variety of industries. These included military planning, promotional products, and computer
hardware engineering.
Early in his career, Sean was trained as a Secure Communications Maintenance Technician for the US Army. He was promoted
rapidly, and served in a variety of units stationed in Europe, East Africa, and Central America. Sean’s military career
culminated in 1996 with an assignment to The White House Communications Agency (WHCA), where he supported a wide array of
secure voice and data communications systems in direct support of President William Jefferson Clinton, his Cabinet, and
the Senior White House Staff.
