Sean Bernard joined Advanced Clinical Research Services (ACRS) in 2007. He is charged with overseeing all functional areas involving systems integration, hardware, network support, security, and research and development of ACRS' automated systems.

Prior to joining ACRS, Sean was a Senior Systems Analyst for Sava Senior Care. While there Sean led several projects that used technology to streamline business processes, reduce costs, and focus resources to meet company goals. This included several multi-million dollar projects aimed at capturing and securing patient data in electronic form, while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements (HIPAA).

Prior to Sava, Sean was a Senior Systems Administrator with Petris Technology, Inc, where he assisted with the development and implementation of large-scale data migration systems, and was instrumental in designing and implementing Petris’ application service provider (ASP) line-of-business, which continues to serve over 180 applications to hundreds of users world-wide.

Before joining Petris Technology, Sean worked as a technology consultant, and had assignments supporting the technology goals of organizations in a variety of industries. These included military planning, promotional products, and computer hardware engineering.

Early in his career, Sean was trained as a Secure Communications Maintenance Technician for the US Army. He was promoted rapidly, and served in a variety of units stationed in Europe, East Africa, and Central America. Sean’s military career culminated in 1996 with an assignment to The White House Communications Agency (WHCA), where he supported a wide array of secure voice and data communications systems in direct support of President William Jefferson Clinton, his Cabinet, and the Senior White House Staff.
